Duke of Edinburgh
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is an international youth development program, available to all students at Immanuel aged from fourteen to school leaving age. The student’s may then continue on with the award if they wish until they are 25 years of age. Being voluntary, flexible, non-competitive, balanced, progressive, challenging and most of all enjoyable, it provides an opportunity for students to achieve personal excellence and build self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance, self-motivation and respect for others via their involvement in service, skill, physical recreation and expedition activities.
